Greetings City Prepping Community,
The website will be offline from 6 pm to 12 am PST this coming Sunday night, February 25th. We will put the site in maintenance mode at around 6 pm, and the site will not be accessible for 6 hours.
What’s going on? The company that created the software that powers our site came out with a new hosting platform that is optimized for speed and security for this particular software. We recently migrated the site to a test server, and we’ve seen performance increases that are 3 to 5 times faster than our current server. In other words, things will load a whole lot faster.
The other issue we ran into was in regard to our app. We’ve been waiting to launch our City Prepping Community app but ran into issues with our previous hosting company. This new server also resolves this issue.
This represents a step forward for this community, and I appreciate your patience as we take the site temporarily offline.
