How To Survive the First 90 Days – B
Video Lesson 2 – 7 Rules You Must Obey
Cascading Disasters: Disasters often lead to a chain of events causing prolonged grid-down situations, leading to chaos, lawlessness, and potentially the collapse of civil society.
Critical Preps: Survival depends on continually evaluating seven major preps: shelter, water, food, medical supplies, security, communication, and community. Overlooking any of these reduces the chances of survival.
Shelter & Safety: Maintaining a secure and stable shelter is crucial. Regularly assess structural integrity and environmental threats, and be prepared to decide whether to stay or evacuate.
Water & Food: Stockpile sufficient water and food to last at least three weeks, with plans for long-term sourcing and rationing. Water sources will be scarce in a prolonged crisis, and food supplies will be contested.
Community & Communication: Building a strong community and having reliable communication methods are vital. A well-connected community can significantly improve survival odds, while lack of communication can leave you vulnerable and uninformed.
